Middle School students craft city plans and recreate Greek structures with 3D printing in social studies, and Upper School students work in groups to research, design, and present a 10-day international travel itinerary in Spanish class. This is a school full of global citizens, curious thinkers, creative problem-solvers, and good humans. And we’re here to Learn On.

Middle School is a critical developmental stage in a student’s educational journey. That’s why we have smaller classes, connected faculty and staff, and a magical, kind environment to nurture a learning that emphasizes critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. We encourage learning that takes our students out of their comfort zone and into new spheres of knowledge.

Athenian’s Upper School pushes students to think big, then bigger—to push beyond limits and lead with curiosity. That’s what discovery demands. In the classroom and under the stars, students build self-awareness, critical insight, and boundary-challenging critical thinking skills. The block schedule creates space for experiential learning, with longer class periods that allow for meaningful collaboration, in-depth lessons, hands-on labs, and engaging project work.
